You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist committed to helping adults develop healthy coping skills, life satisfaction, and resilience. My work focuses on improving health behaviors and chronic pain, identifying negative thought and behavioral patterns, and committing to values that are important to you. Clients describe me as warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I am passionate about working with clients who are adjusting to life transitions, stress, depression, anxiety and coping with illness or pain. I utilize evidence based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, pain reprocessing therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness based stress reduction to help clients make meaningful changes, reach acceptance, and discover strengths.
Congratulations on taking the first step towards prioritizing your mental and physical health. I look forward to talking to you soon.
